About Module

Satellite Analytics Module is built for the collection, processing, and analysis of geodata from satellites.

Currently, we have connected with 2 sources of satellite data:

- Planet (https://www.planet.com/)

-Sentinel (https://sentinels.copernicus.eu/web/sentinel/home)

Planet-based data analysis

We can provide 3m resolution satellite imagery from Planet every day in the Red, Green, Blue, and NIR bands. Also from 01 March, 2022 additional bands are available: Red Edge, Green I, Yellow, and Coastal Blue. Thus 8-bands maps are available for Skyglyph users.

There is a number of vegetation indices, which are available for analysis: NDVI, SAVI, OSAVI, GLI, NGRDI, CLr, CLg, VARI, NDWI. Additional indices are also possible by request.

Below you see an analysis of the dynamics of changes in vegetation indices over time:

Additionally, index analysis by a separate index is available. You can select a number of colors, adjust the range of index visualization:

Interactive map vegetation analysis allows to research dynamic of indices over time by time ranges, compare vegetation maps between each other:

Sentinel-based data analysis

This open-source data allow us to provide 12-spectral maps with frequency about once in 7 days. The same indices, interface, and analysis are supported.
